Fashion is, of course, subjective, but few would argue that Erdem's Spring/Summer 27 runway is anything less than beautiful. And while Erdem Moralioglu played with ideas of masculine and feminine within the collection, drawing inspiration from the 1920s American aerialist and performer Barbette, makeup artist Lynsey Alexander embodied the same idea in the grooming, creating a look that's both beautiful yet pared-back enough for us to try at home.
"It feels handsome, fresh and slightly undone, which felt right for the spirit of this collection," says Lynsey. "The finished face is about that balance between masculine and feminine — a strong brow, bare eyes, flushed cheeks and glossy skin."
