Gingerbread Hot Chocolate

“Antioxidant- and magnesium-rich cacao gives a gentle boost to energy levels and mood. Using organic full-fat milk will add beneficial fat-soluble nutrients, or try Jersey milk for a creamy taste that is gentler on digestion than ordinary cow’s milk. Unsweetened almond or coconut milk is a vegan-friendly option that won’t spike blood sugar like oat milk. The ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg give a grounding and satisfying taste while lowering inflammation and supporting the immune system,” says nutritional therapist Alexa Mullane.
